Ich habe mir das Buch gekauft, weil ich gerne über die Siedlerzeit im Amerika um die 19.Jahrhundert lese.Da sind Autoren wie Linda Ford, Cathy Marie Hake Judith MIller die ich schon kannte.Cathy Marie Hake auch in deutschen Übersetzungen gut bekannt.Was mir auch sehr gefallen ist dass der Glaube so grosse Rolle spielte, es gab immer beständiges Gottvertrauen.Es gab aber auch traurige Momente, Verzagtheit , Verzweiflung , aber ich hatte das Gefühl irgendwie die Hoffnung trägt durch.Die menschliche Beziehungen waren so vielfältig von guten erfahrenen Autoren in ihren Romanzen geschildert. Die Liebe hatte immer sehr grosse Stellenwert .Sie war immer da:Die beständige Liebe zum Land , das der Farmer bearbeiten musste, die Ernte musste eingefahren werden, , und natürlich die Liebe in der Familie.Es mussten auch Ehen geschlossen werden um zu überleben auf der Prairie, aber die Liebe spielte immer wieder eine wichtige Rolle!Hier waren ja auch "Romanzen"...Meine Lieblingsgeschichte ist von Linda Goodnight:"The Barefoot Bride".Ich habe noch nie so eine schöne "Romanze" gelesen.Sie ist relativ kurz aber ausdruckstark, ich habe gespürt wie wichtig der Glaube ist , wie alles gut werden kann wenn auch alles ertmal aussichtslos wirkt.Ich habe gestaunt wie einer starke Glaube durchträgt und heilt! Wie Emma Russel , die Witwe alles verliert und dann doch schafft ein neues Leben zu beginnen.Diese Geschichte ist heilsam, hoffnungstragend und mir ist sie sehr ans Herz gewachsen. Sie ist wunderbar geschrieben, Linda Goodnight hat für mich ein schönes Englisch, feinen Schreibstil, ich habe viel Freude daran gehabt.Bei der Anthologie ist so schön, man kann das aussuchen was man lesen möchte, es ist eine gute Ausgabe, prima.
